Sanuki Udon

Decorated truly like a Japanese Izakaya, this hole in the wall serves unpretentious Japanese food at super reasonable prices. Slurp on Tonkatsu ramen for just RM17, and curry udon at RM10. Although with these prices, don’t expect too big a portion or too many ingredients. Curry was a bit too diluted, but karaage and gyoza was delicious.

Haven’t eaten here in a long time, but the food is still as good as I remember. The udon is nicely chewy, the gyoza was a bit burnt on the outside but still tasty, and the karaage is still flavorful. Will come back again!

One of my go-to spots for cold udon. The noodles are smooth, refreshing, and perfectly chewy. Prices are very affordable, and the food quality is great. Definitely value for money. The deep-fried items are also worth trying. Crispy and satisfying every time. A hidden gem for udon lovers.

Great and affordable Japanese food. The udon portion looks really small but it’s filling. Udon texture is not the usual commercial type, good and firm texture. Atmosphere was ok, can be quite noisy with the crowd. Weekday night was busy, and there’s a queue. House sake is very smooth and less fizziness, great pairing with fried food. Overall was great experience and food!

Ordered house special cold udon. Springy noodles coated with little bit wasabi and soft boiled egg. Perfect for a hot day. Edamame was well cooked, sprinkled with salt. Simple no frill izakaya selling good udon and side dishes. And good cold beer!

Always my fav to come and eat their in house cold noodle! Their kaaragae, fritter, squid, potato salad would be my all time fav too! Their edamame is great as well. Always crave to come and the price is sooooo much affordable than outside Do you know that their udon is homemade by themselve? Love this place food so much!
